About Me

Hi, I’m Lu — a journalism major who never quite took the traditional newsroom path, but never lost my love for writing. Over time, I’ve become deeply aware of the loneliness so many men face today, and the heartbreaking reality of the suicide crisis among them. Dear John was created as a way to bring something heartfelt and meaningful into that space — not digital noise, but a handwritten letter that feels personal, thoughtful, and real.

I’ve always loved to write and create, and sharing that creativity through letters feels like the perfect way to brighten someone’s day. In life, I’m loud, outgoing, and always curious — I love making new friends, exploring the world, and feeding my passion for travel. At the same time, I’ve built a quiet homestead where I find joy in caring for my animals and tending my garden.

And yes - I know "Dear John letter" usually means a breakup. But don't worry - mine aren't about endings. They're about beginnings, connection, and the kind of spark you'll actually look forward to finding in your mailbox.

At the heart of it all, I believe in connection — and if my words can bring even a spark of joy or comfort, then this work is worth every pen stroke.
